This course is suitable for those wishing to offer a wash-and-brush dog grooming service alongside other animal care businesses.  Boarding kennels, hydrotherapy, dog walkers, dog day care are examples of those who would benefit from offering an additional dog grooming service.

And many pet owners have taken this course so that they can competently bath and dry their own dogs.

​

This course covers:-

                             Health & Safety and relevant legislations

                             Safe handling and restraint methods

                             Nail, ear and eye care

                             Identifying parasites and diseases

                             Bathing, drying and grooming the various coat types

                             Trimming the pads of the feet

​

The hours of this course are 9.30am-5.30pm, We are quite flexible with the days of training (we are closed Sundays & Mondays) and this can work around your commitments.

​

All equipment and aprons will be supplied as will tea and coffee throughout the sessions.

​

On completion of the course you will receive a certificate of attendance.
