Canine First Aid Course

We are proud to be endorsed by AOFAS (Association of First Aid Services)

The Canine First Aid Course is delivered by a Qualified Canine First Aid Trained Instructor

When you think of first aid, you don’t often think about your dog.  Dogs have accidents the same as humans and knowing what to do should the worst happen is a simple thing to learn with basic training. Canine first aid is not aimed to replace veterinary care but it will help you to recognise an emergency, calm your dog and reduce the risks of delayed treatment.

Learning canine first aid is fun and informative and will give you the skills to deal with a canine emergency should it arise. This course is available at our training facility in Northampton, however we can accommodate training in the Northamptonshire areas.

This course is ideal for pet owners or pet professionals. It covers the main first aid subjects for Dogs and Cats but this information is also suitable for most other animals. Understanding basic first aid for your dog will give you the skills to assist them and prevent them from getting worse before professional help is given by your vet.

This is a four hour Canine first aid course including a break in the middle for refreshments. Although it is a full-on course, it is very friendly and fun.

Course Duration

Minimum of four hours. However, if we are coming to you and there is just one or two people, we can reduce this by an hour or so because of the low number.
